VERIZON KICK UPS CHALLENGE

As a part of their partnership with Alianza de Futbol in 2022, Verizon worked with Momentum to create and execute the Verizon “Kick Ups Challenge”. Through use of a software designed in partnership with Sb Experiential, we were able to create a platform that allowed brand ambassadors to digitally track the kicks of attendees competing in the game. A live leaderboard was also featured throughout the course of the event showing the names and high scores from each city. The contestant with the most consecutive kick ups in one minute at each location of the Alianza de Futbol tour, would receive signed memorabilia from Verizon ambassadors Diego Forlán, Julio Baptista, and Marcos Senna.

The game was a massive success, with hundreds of attendees competing each week within the Verizon space at 10 locations on the Alianza de Futbol circuit (Phoenix, Denver, El Paso, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Jose, and Austin).

Verizon also decided to reactivate the game for their partnership of the Women’s World Cup watch party in Hudson Yards in July 2023, where over 100 attendees participated in the game once again.
